CDI Professional Services, Ltd., the Canadian Operations division of CDI Corporation, was founded in 1985. Strategic corporate planning and professional expertise enabled it to evolve into an industry leader in engineering and technical staffing within a multitude of industries including telecommunications, government and manufacturing.
After marked success in the Eastern Canada, CDI expanded into the energy and petroleum marketplace establishing offices in Western Canada in 1997. Asset Computer Personnel, a provider of IT staffing solutions, was acquired in 1999, broadening the division's business solutions to include IT, life sciences, and financial staffing.
