These are the latest pricing indications for a Beamery account.
Beamery is a premium talent management platform that provides advanced recruitment and talent lifecycle management solutions for a recurring fee.
Beamery is not communicating detailed pricing on their website. There is no pricing page, no plan list and no self-serve checkout: every deal is quoted by a salesperson.
That's why we wrote this blog for you to better understand what a Beamery license would probably cost you.
The short version, if you only read one line: third-party contract data puts the median Beamery buyer at roughly $77,000 per year, and the cheapest observed deals still start around $25,000. This is enterprise software, priced like enterprise software.
We'll answer these questions for you:
- Which Beamery plans are there?
- What does Beamery cost?
- When should I pay for Beamery?
- What are alternatives to Beamery?
Which Beamery plans are there?
Beamery offers a customizable enterprise-level solution. They don't publicly advertise different plans or tiers. Instead, the platform is sold as a set of modules, and your price depends on which of them you switch on.
Beamery now positions itself as an AI platform for workforce transformation rather than purely a recruitment CRM. That repositioning matters for pricing, because the modules you are being quoted for have grown well beyond hiring.
The platform is currently organised around four parts:
- Data platform: connects fragmented data on skills, roles, people and market signals
- Workforce intelligence suite: scenario modelling, talent risk and workforce planning
- Execution suite: AI-powered sourcing, matching and engagement (the classic talent CRM)
- Ray: an embedded agentic AI consultant that makes recommendations across the above
Two AI products are worth knowing by name when you talk to sales. TalentGPT was announced in March 2023 as a generative AI layer built on Beamery's talent graph. Ray arrived later, alongside a first-to-market Task Intelligence capability launched in July 2025, and is the agentic layer that drafts workforce plans rather than just answering questions.
Ask explicitly which modules are inside your quote and which are upsells later. The gap between a Beamery deal that is "just the CRM" and one that includes workforce intelligence is the single biggest driver of the price spread you'll see below.
What does Beamery cost?
Beamery pricing is not published on their website, so any exact number you see quoted online (including ours) is an indication, not a price list.
Beamery does not share exact pricing because they negotiate per account based on specific enterprise needs and scale of implementation.
The most useful public evidence comes from procurement platforms that aggregate what companies actually signed. According to Vendr's Beamery buyer guide, real contract data looks like this:
- Median annual cost: $76,797 per year
- Low end: around $24,717 per year
- High end: around $204,153 per year
- No free version and no self-serve free trial is offered
- Additional costs are common: data migration, customization, training, and ongoing support
That roughly eight-fold spread between the cheapest and most expensive contracts is the real story. It tells you Beamery's price is driven by modules and scale, not by a per-seat rate card, which is also why per-user figures floating around the internet are close to meaningless here. Treat the $25k end as "one module, small team" and the $200k end as "full platform, global enterprise".
Take into account that prices vary significantly per organization size, features required, and level of customization. Your negotiating leverage is real: multi-year commitments and module bundling are where enterprise HR tech discounts actually come from.
You will also see Beamery cite a 467% three-year ROI from a Forrester Total Economic Impact study. It's a genuine Forrester study and the numbers are specific (roughly $613,000 in recruiter efficiency, about $217,000 in tool consolidation, and a 30% average reduction in time to fill). Two caveats belong next to it, though: the study was commissioned and paid for by Beamery, and it was published in October 2023, so it models a composite organization on a platform that has since been substantially rebuilt around AI agents. Useful as a business case template. Not evidence of what you will get.
HeroHunt.ai
If that median number just ended your evaluation, the useful next question is which half of Beamery you were actually buying. If it was the Execution suite (AI sourcing, matching and candidate engagement) rather than workforce planning, that is the half HeroHunt.ai competes on: search across a billion public profiles, screening by language model against your own criteria, and personalized outreach, with no sales-led quote or annual enterprise contract standing between you and a first search. The honest caveat, and it matters here: HeroHunt is a sourcing and outreach engine, not a talent operating system. It does no skills inference across your existing workforce, no internal talent marketplace and no scenario modelling, and it is not a system of record. If Beamery is on your shortlist because you cannot see the skills you already employ, nothing in the cheaper tier of this market replaces it, ours included.
When should I pay for Beamery?
Beamery can be an effective tool for large enterprises looking for a comprehensive talent management solution. At a median of $77k a year, it needs to be replacing several tools or several people's work to make sense.
Beamery is particularly useful if you want to:
- Implement a robust talent lifecycle management strategy
- Leverage AI for advanced talent matching and recommendations
- Improve candidate experience and engagement at scale
- Run skills-based workforce planning, not just requisition filling
- Integrate various aspects of talent management into a single platform
The clearest signal you are the right buyer is internal mobility. If your problem is "we cannot see the skills we already employ", Beamery is built for exactly that and very few tools at any price compete properly. If your problem is "we need to fill 20 roles this quarter", you are paying an enormous premium for capability you will not touch.
One piece of diligence worth doing on a multi-year contract: check the vendor's own footing. Beamery raised roughly $223M and hit a $1B valuation at its 2022 Series D, then cut 12% of staff in January 2023 and a further 25% in November 2023 in a restructuring targeting a 35% cost reduction. The company is considerably smaller than it was at peak. That is not a reason to walk away (leaner vendors often ship better), but it is a fair reason to ask hard questions about roadmap commitments, support SLAs and which modules are actually staffed.
Also consider your alternatives. There are other solutions in the market which might better fit your specific needs or budget, especially if you're not a large enterprise.
What alternatives do I have?
If you're not sure Beamery is worth the price or if it fits your organization's scale, you have several alternatives to consider.
Pick based on which half of Beamery you actually wanted: the hiring engine, or the workforce intelligence.
These are some of the best alternatives to buying a Beamery license:
- AI Sourcing Tools: For companies focused on building talent pools and engaging candidates over time, tools like HeroHunt.ai can be valuable alternatives, offering extensive candidate search capabilities.
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS): For companies primarily focused on recruitment rather than workforce planning, an ATS covers most of what you'd use Beamery for. Manatal is the low-cost option that pairs an ATS with a recruitment CRM, while Greenhouse and Lever sit in the mid-market. Note that Workday Recruiting is not a cheaper route: it's an enterprise HCM suite and typically lands in Beamery's price band or above.
- CRM-focused Recruitment Tools: Platforms like Gem or Yello offer strong candidate relationship management features, and are the closest match if the talent CRM was the part you wanted.
- Talent Intelligence Platforms: If skills data and internal mobility were the draw, Eightfold and Gloat compete with Beamery directly. Expect enterprise pricing in the same range.
- AI-Powered Recruiting Tools: For those interested primarily in AI-driven recruiting, tools like HireVue or Paradox might be suitable alternatives.
Manatal
On option 2, the ATS route, it is worth knowing what the low end of that market actually costs. Manatal publishes a rate card instead of quoting one: $15 per user per month billed annually ($19 monthly), or $35 for the tier with unlimited jobs and candidates. At $35 a seat that is over 180 recruiters for the cost of one median Beamery contract, and the 14-day trial takes no credit card, so you can price this end of the market before your next budget meeting. Two honest caveats. The $15 tier caps at 15 active jobs and 10,000 candidates, so anyone comparing against Beamery is really comparing against the $35 tier. And it is not a like-for-like swap: Manatal tracks the candidates you are already hiring, it does not tell you anything about the workforce you already have. If the internal-mobility half of Beamery is why it is on your shortlist, pay for Beamery.
